Mr. Sani Faragai MOHAMMED holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Banking and Finance. Until his retirement from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2021, he was the Head, Specialized Services Division of the Development Finance Department. He was also the pioneer Head of the Infrastructure Finance Office at the CBN in charge of the Power and Airline Intervention Funds, and the Nigeria Electricity Market Stabilization Facility from 2010 to 2016. Mr. SF, led the team that developed the Frameworks for the implementation of the CBN’s National Food Security Programme, Presidential Fertilizer Initiative and Non-Oil Export Stimulation Facility, and the Bank’s interventions under the Federal Government Economic Sustainability Plans that included Solar Connections, Mass Housing, National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) and the National Gas Expansion Programme (NGEP). A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria and Bayero University Kano, Mr. SF also hold Diploma and Certification in Business Continuity Management (BCM) from Coventry University, UK, and another Certification on PPP Skills and Competency Development by the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships, (IP3) Washington, DC Mr. Sani Faragai MOHAMMED brings to bear over 30 years of industry experience in Infrastructure Financing and related formulation of policy framework, among others.
